Yes, we're heading back into EQ2 to stay this time around. We will be moving from Mistmoore to Antonia Bayle as MM is a dead duck population wise. Any past or current members just give me a tell on AB when you get there. We'll need to reform the guild of course, and we'll do this as soon as possible.

I have also put up an open invite to the f13 guys to come join us as well. As the previous players know, the only reason we stopped playing initially was because of lack of recruitment opportunities. The new server, plus new blood, should go a long way towards alleviating that problem.

New members PLEASE make sure to register for these forums and check them regularly. They are the lifeblood of this guild and your best source of information. Once we have ya tagged, we'll get you members access and so on. Feel free to PM me here as well should you have trouble catching me in game for an invite.

Our focus until Sentinel's Fate will be helping out new guys / rerolls, group, and 2X content. From there it will based purely off player interest. All classes are welcome. Play what interests you and we'll work out class gaps when and if that problem arises.

Finally, PLEASE be familar with and have access to Ventrillo. Without it, don't be surprised if you feel like you're left out of things.

As you can see, we've got the perfect ground work for a solid, solid crew. With the new server being very, very healthy, shit is coming along quite nicely.

We are not leaving EQ2. This is where we are staying come hell or high water until one of the big titles ships. None of those are shipping in 2010 so we're in for the long term. With the new expansion landing in just over two months, it's a great time to get in.

Current class needs are Tanks (1 or 2) healers (1 or 2) and general melee DPS, which is pretty surprising. However, none of these are required, play what ya want and we'll work out the gaps.

Myself, Voh, Edo, Mud, Ida, Dio and Layzi are playing pretty much everyday. Tubbi is moving into a house with no bathroom but will be back soon. Yes, you read that right, Layzi. Everyone's favorite fake asian. He plays a midget negro fairy coercer with a pink hat. Fitting, really.

Expansion is just over a week away for the head start (Feb 16th.)

I've swapped to a Paladin for tanking duties and already have him up to 66. Voh has like an 80 of everything. Gurog has an 80 of almost everything and can get one there in about 7 hours. Mud should be 40 by now.

Get your asses in here. Make sure you download the free trial or hit one of us up in the EQ2 forums for an RAF. The RAF bonuses are absolutely ridiculous for both the sponsor and the person receiving the trial.

Power leveling new guys in EQ2 is a fucking snap. The mentoring system and RAF bonuses can put a new guy up to way over double XP. Not to mention the XP pots you get when you become a subscriber.

BG's are coming. Get in here, get a toon levelled. Run an absolutely ridiculous amount of sick dungeons. Listen to Mud try to speak in English in vent and chuckle.

Xpack launch day is here. I can say without a doubt that I haven't been this pumped for an MMO release since TBC.

I'm going to say something that might not be all that popular, but I'll say it anyways...

EQ2 is the best all around MMO on the market. (Sorry WoW guys)

I haven't had as much fun in an MMO as I've had these past few weeks since probably WoW vanilla or TBC. I find myself EAGER to log in, advance my character, explore the game, help the guys with group oriented shit, explore the lore and back story, on and on and on.

Remember back when everyone "got it." When the whole guild was firing on all cylinders? When you KNEW that if you just gave a yell in GU that you would get help with whatever it was you were doing and have fun doing it? I'm not saying that isn't happening now, or hasn't happened since in our other games, it's just a very easy comparison to make.

Granted this is on a much smaller scale atm, but the feelings are the same. We and I are logging in out of want and enjoyment rather than out of a sense of responsibility.

I urge all of you to come on in. Things are pretty damn nice here, and all of you will be welcome should you decide to explore the game. Regardless if you've been out of touch, playing different things or what have you.

When I run the Autorun on the disc for the game, Avast is popping up telling me that it's finding a virus on the autorun? Anyone else have this problem?

If you have anymore trouble with it Zooz, just download the streaming client from the official site. It's a pretty slick setup save for your first few zone ins. It downloads zones and their associated assets the first time you enter a new zone.

The upside is that you can be up and running in literally 15 minutes with a decent connection.
